Kyrie's Air Gear review:Oh Great!'s most famous series, Air Gear, is a manga which revolves around a group of people who participate in a sport known as Air Trek, Air Trek revolves around using motor powered roller blades, the motors within capable of going to 70mph, to acomplish mind bogling feats, whether races, jumps or tricks...The story is actually very good, but begins to go downhill, and eventually becomes something.... Not very enjoyable. The world it's built around is very well thought of, and Oh Great who even created a character for Soul Calibur 4, does deliver in the world, how ever, the further the series goes the more rediculous it gets.. which IS a shame, as the earlier chapters are really quite captivating... The art is superb, although there is a il' bit too much ecchi... hopefully even if it doesn't recover it's realism, it may recover story.. : / The character design is superb, and seems alot more realistic than alot of manga, it's safe to say you could see people dressed like this in real life, unlike alot of other shows*cough*Naruto*cough*... |

| Akito/Agito/Lind I mean, you can't get much cooler than a schizphrenic crossdresser with killer intent and enhanced DNA who can shoot lazer beams from his shoes can you? ... ...... OKAY! Maybe you can, I mean he's defintely ORIGINAL, a bit scary at times, as well as adding in for comic releif... despite his short comings and some stereo-typical aspects of ALL three characters, he makes up for it in depth, Akito/Agito/Lind is probably one of the most well built characters, personality wise, just when you think you figure him out something else pops up... Generaly Agito started off an enemy, due to his blood lust, but ends up on the good guy's side, Kogamarasu.  |
