Summary Coffee writes: In a 19th century of alternative world, there are 2 existed powerful groups besides humans; Demons (akumas) and Exorcists (demon destroyers). These beings has been fighting for years (or millenia) to make way who will control Earth. Exorcists use Innocence as an anti-weapon for Demons from trying to kill the rest of human race. But Demons have its own class. Highest group of Demons called Noahs controls lower class demons in order to kill exorcist's clan one at a time. All was well for the demons until a fifteen year old boy named Allen walker had made a deal with Demon maker Millenium Earl to revive his caretaker Mana Walker. By destiny, Allen was spared from getting eatened by demon Mana (Demons has to be full awakened by eating the person who wanted the person to be revived from the dead) in exchange of a curse of his left arm and left eye. From that time on, Allen sworn to become Exorcist in order wipe out the Millenium Earl and his demons from killing the rest of the human race. |
Coffee's D gray man review:To a FMA lover point of view, it is another version of FMA story. Since there are no negative views of this story at any time since I saw this manga on VR warp site , I can say that this story is more like a better version of FMA alternative world and a bit more extended version of life and deathIts most likely for people who like gore and some bits of blood (probably too few bloods to see in here since its more out worldly creatures are the onces who gets more blood spilled than humans get killed by demons). The first thing that is on my mind is people who like gothic anime is most likely would see this story. But! Im no gothic person. Im a kind of person who like interesting story flow and bishi characters =3. If you want to get full understanding of this anime, I suggest to read the MANGA first before ANIME. No, its not a harry potter thing, its just manga has its limits of giving you information of the story the same as anime =3. The author is simply lazy =P. Her artwork was pretty odd but it has alot of effort on her early volumes. Since the anime version of her story came up before she havent even reach the middle of her story. The anime stops from making episodes until the creator has finished at least 1 season at the time. The artwork of character clothes were most relied on anime version. Everyone who watched D.Gray-man would WANT the cosplay clothes. It's because firstly, its very unique and fancy to wear and secondly, everyone (i mean everyone that are at least average size =/) can be a d.gray-man character cosplay. |
