I just loved this seris from when Kumi introduced it to me back in Sophomore year in high school. I am now a freshman in college, so I have loved this manga for almost four years now. The story that Sohma family transforms into animals of the Chinese Zodiac is a awesome idea. It just makes the story more interesting.
I also love all the love triangles going on.

This series started out great. The drama and dynamic nature of the series made it nearly irrestable. It was the most popular shojo manga for years...
But after Vol 11, the plot went downhill. Instead of being where it was nearly impossible to wait 6 months until the next volume came out to not caring that you havent read a couple volumes. The romance was going soo strong, and then as it got to a point that should have been a climax of sorts, it suddenly stopped having the sense of deep romance that kept the series alive for so long. In the last several volumes, the intense realtionships between the characters is merely hinted at instead of being the focal point of the series. As a devoted fan of this series, I was really disappointed. Overall though, I still really like the series, and I recommend you read it, but I probably couldnt tell you anything that happend recently.

Kira's and Kumi's Favorite character's of the series:
(Kira) Kyo Sohma: Kyo is a cutie. Also it's not just the dark, mysterious guys I like, I like the avengers too. (PS... My favorite charater in Naruto is Sasuke Uchiha.) I have felt bad for Kyo ever since the beginning of the series when you here about the cat and then you met Kyo and you find out all of the crap Kyo has to go though, because he is the cat.	(kira) Kisa Sohma: Her and I both start out shy to people, but as we get to know people we warm up to them and become social butterflies. So I feel a connection to Kisa as she does to Tohru. Also she transforms into a tiger and tigers are awesome animals.	(Kumi) Yuki Sohma: Yuki Sohma. Yuki is a sweet, quiet, caring person who is the strongest of all the Sohmas in a fight. What else can I say other than he was the first anime character I became a fangirl of. But I would never be anything like the obnoxious Prince Yuki fanclub... they should all just die.
