Summary

Mangafox writes:
Sakura is the princess of Clow kingdom, which is ruled by her older brother, King Tōuya. Her childhood friend Syaoran is a young archaeologist. Sakura is revealed to have strange powers when she has a vision of a mysterious symbol and places she has never seen. Meanwhile, Syaoran discovers the same symbol at the ruins he is excavating. He sees Sakura standing on the symbol on the ground. Ghostly wings appear on her back and a mysterious force begins to pull her into the walls of the ruins. Syaoran rescues her in time, but her wings are shattered into hundreds of feather-like pieces and scattered across the dimensions. The High Priest of Clow Kingdom, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "wings" were the manifestation of her soul and memories; without them, she will die. In order to save Sakura, Syaoran must journey to retrieve her feathers, the fragments of her memories. However, when Yukito sends him to Yuko, the witch of dimensions who lives and works in a shop that grants wishes in another world, he learns that all things come with a price. In order to retreive the feathers, the help of Yuko's friend, a strange creature by the name of Mokona, is needed, but Syaoran must pay the price if he wants Mokona's help. The price for traveling dimensions is his most precious posesion, and that is this: Even though with each feather that is returned to Sakura she will regain some of her memory, she will never remember Syaoran and what he was to her. Aiding Syaoran in his quest are Fye, a mysterious yet whimsical man with a false smile, and Kurogane, a warrior who wishes to rind his way back to his own world to be by the side of Princess Tomoyo. But in these strange, alternate worlds, things aren't always what they seem. A friend long dead may appear in front of you, but does not remember who you are. You may meet yourself on the street or discover that a person of high status in your country is a mere servant in this world, a waiter at an unpopular bar in the shady part of town. For each person has a double living another life in another world, knowing different people and having different personalities.

Vash's Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles review:

I have allot of feelings toward this manga And to express them will be hard.
To start off . the manga is better then the anime don't bother watching it just pick up the book.
I rather like the story here . it gets a bit confusing at times I mean like most shoujos . But more or less  it's fun to follow . the thought of all of my clamp favorites being mashed into one manga is awesome.

Clamps way of incorporating old manga characters is flawless. they travel to different worlds to collect memory however in each world someone with the same body and soul resides there. who may be your friend in one world may be your enemy in the next. I find that just great.

The art is also quite good. even though they make them disproportioned on purpose I can't help but love it!. Long and twiggy as they may be the clamp team is always spot on .
Surprisingly the fights are rather large and engaging too. not too long and talky either.

Kira's Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles review:

I love this series. It has a lot of the aspects of science fiction and that is probably why I enjoy it so much. It has memorable characters and lines. However, let me say this... the artwork in the anime is a lot better than the manga.

Vash's and kira's Favorite character of the series:
Mokona:(Vash's reason)
mokona is possibly one of the cutest things in anime. Both the white and black mokona's are adorable sassy and a bundle of fun. He alsois the object in which syaoran and party travel from world to world. the time space whitch gave them it at the cost of there most precious objects.
Mokona:(Kira's reason)
Mokona is amazing and very cute. I wish Mokona was real. I have a family pet, but Mokona would be like my personal pet even though it talks.

Fai(Fey):(Vash's reason)
Fai is the best. In my mind he is the character with the most depth by far in the series. He is a Mage though he hides the extent of his power throughout the series. some stuff happens and his eyes are stolen. his eyes contain his magic. and he is also turned into a vampire.
He does not get any breaks and he somehow still manages to smile away.

Fai(Fey):(Kira's reason)
I love him because even though he jokes around, he as a calm serious side too. I love the crazy nickname he gives to Kurogane such as Kuro-Poo, Kuro-Tan, or Big Doggie.
